learning about myself

i am confused and allover the place which I suppose is just part of who I am but I thought if I start my own thread then at least my learning will be in one place. I have been round this site for about two months now since I was having horriffic withdrawal symptoms from reducing too fast. I do want to be drug free but I keep learning and need to accept that it has to be a slow taper. What a hell trip this is but I remind myself too that I do haved faith that I am doing it going forward, so things will get better.
MY latest learning is that when I am menstruating my symptoms will be awhole lot worse. I need to accept that, believe it and just simply look after myself

Re: learning about myself

Well it has been a hell four days, but I have been reaching out to real people in my life, for help with my kids and to get a better perspective on myself. I have made a decision after talking to my good friend and cousin who is also a gp that if things have not improved for me by next Tuesday I will go back up to 15mg and try to stabilise. That gives me a week,

Re: learning about myself

Well I have been praying heaps and have come to decision to go back up to 15mg and hopefully stabilise there until next year. It's been too horrible and not fair on my kids and hubby, especially at this time of year.. I feel good for having made the decision, and will set up more specific support before I try to taper again.

Re: learning about myself

I think that's a wise choice, Monnie. When you're ready, we'll be here!
