Just checking in

Hi everyone and especially everyone who helped with my paxil w/d, and especially the person who directed me to benzoisland. Im doing the benzo withdrawal now. No fun but it will get done.

My advice: Don't do benzos, they are murder to get off. I had the ativan to help with getting off paxil but now its benzos to reality.

Im so appreciative of this site and the benzo site. At the benzo site I switched over to valium and cut the dose. Am down to 15 mg valium now and tomorrow going to the doctor to get the 2 mg pills so I can make smaller cuts.

Just want to say to everyone "You can do it" and it will be worth it. Paxil w/d was sickening for me but I got so much help here and will be grateful forever for all the encouragement and information I got from the people on this site.

Thanks!

Blue

Took Ativan along with Paxil
After Paxil withdrawal was over,
tried fast Ativan wean but too many w/d symptoms
Still Weaning Ativan and Switching to Valium for an easier wean Oct. 8/08
Sleep without medication eludes me. But hope looms on the horizon somewhere.
Doing better. Its Dec. 8/08. Down to 15 mg Valium and working on slowly cutting.

Re: Just checking in

Thanks Jenny. I want to be drug free before my first grandbaby comes in April or May.

Hope you are well and hoping your sig needs to be updated to "feeling better."
