re reason for seroxat taking

hi guys
im starting to wean off this stuff now but am worried about the reason i was put on it in the first place.
i was put on it for pmdd and would welcome any advice that would help those syptoms as well as w/d
im currently suffering for severe headaches and aching pains in between my shoulderblades, and ive onlt lowered it to 15 mg from 20mg.
my doc wouldnt precribe me liquid seroxat so trying to do it on tabs
any help be grateful

You have jumped too far too fast. Look through and you'll see it is recomended to do 10% tapers. Some people can not do big drops without circumstance. you may be one of them. I would go back up and start over. Good luck!!

How many days has it been since you dropped from 20 to 15 mg? I made the same drop a month ago, and it was too big. I survived, but if I had to do it again it would be more gradual.

You can try using the scales mentioned here on this forum to weigh the amount of tablet you take. You could also try another doctor who would be more understanding of getting you off serotax (Paxil) and prescribe liquid. Liquid works great for me.

the headaches arent too bad , im coping with them at the moment same with the aching. i guess im just worried whether the bad pmt will kick in too tbh. dont think ill cope with those as well as the w/d
im going to try and put up with this dose tbh but stay at this dose for a while and get stable b4 i make another cut on my dosage

PMS is magnified during w/d, so that 5 mg drop isn't going to do you any favors. Dealing with your original symptom is going to be much easier if you slow down your taper. I understand about not being able to get liquid, but you really do need to either get a scale, or cut smaller pieces in order to do this comfortably.
