Taccticle defensivness from anti-depressants

I wandered if anyone knows if this can be caused by anti-depressants like paxil, Zoloft, etc. I wandered if anyone knows or not, I had this problem a number of years ago, I've had a hard time when i blow air on my body, it just drives me crazy, it has been worse recently, I know I am autistic cause i've always had some sighns, handflapping, motor skill problems and other things, I can' remember if the blowing on my body started when aand after I started taking my Zoloft or before i ever started. My mind is bad and can hardly remember anything, [not sure if that is from my autism or the anti-depresants] I wondered if anyone knows if this can come from taking anti-depressants or withdrawing from them or both, i was on 50 mgs of zoloft for about 6 or 7 yrs so you can se how hard it is to remember, I wandered if anyone knows if the drugs can cause it or is their anything in a book or on the internet that tells if it can be caused or not, I;m just starting to read the anti-depressant solution, so not sure if it mentions it or not yet, i really need some help everyone, it's driving me crazy!! Thanks everyone, ad sorry i haven't wrote in a while, i've been having a hard time!

Re: Taccticle defensivness from anti-depressants

I haven't had this specifically, but I do know that my body/skin have been unbelievably hypersensitive in both benzo and in paxil w/d, especially in the initial w/d, but also for some time afterward. Such hyper sensitivity apparently is common in w/d from meds that affect the nervous system.

In my case these problems have eased up a great deal, but it did take a while. It's when you read about them and realize you haven't thought about them in quite a while that you realize how much they've improved, and how intense the feelings were before.

I'm so sorry you've been having such a hard time, but that is the nature of w/d for most of us. I hope you feel better soon.

Re: Taccticle defensivness from anti-depressants

Hello again TRYINGTOGETWELL It's nice to hear fom you again, it is bad right now, i flap rubber bands because in autistic terms it is my 'stimulate', I do it to calm me down, but haven't been able to do it all cause the air hits my arm it bothers me alot, I also used to like to read and walk alot, i haven't been able to do that either because of it, i'm doing what is known as body brushing to help alleviate the sensitivities, it does help a little hopefully more will help as go, thank you for the comments, and i hope all is going well with you
