Gonna miss all my buddys!!!
Well guys,
Its that time yet again, funny how fast a year passes. Anyway, hubby and I leave the Uk on friday for 3 weeks, we are flying out to the Dominican Republic!!! As most of you know the last few years of our marriage have been a disaster in lots of ways, but now i am happy to tell you all that paxil or not, things just couldnt be better, he fully understands paxil w/d, is very supportive, loving and affectionate, heck, what a difference, maybe its the male menopause, still i dont care what caused it, its happened and i couldnt be happier, its been a long time coming, if it werent for w/d from this junk, my life would be quite perfect!!! Still, i cant help feeling a little sad, as i will miss all of my friends on here, i will think of you all while soaking up the sun, wish you all the best and catch up when i get back!!!!! Anjopom

medicated by doctor for grief. 15th Jan 1997 -Nov 2005 30mg paxil, c/t off by doctor. Dec 05, prozac 20mg, propranelol and 10mg Diazepam. March o6 c/t - doctor. April 06 -Nov 07 20mg paxil, Nov 07 - 18mg, dec 07 -16mg, jan 08 - 14mg, feb -12mg, mar -10mg,jul -9mg,aug -8.5mg,oct -8mg,nov -7.5mg,dec 08-7mg, jan09-6.5mg,feb-6mg, 1st mar-5.5mg,end mar -5mg,apr-4.2mg,CRASHED, may-5mg, aug-4.5mg,sept-3.8mg, oct-3.2mg, oct - 2.8mg, nov, 2.2mg. Currently taking 300mg magnesium!!!!! |

Nicole 2000 - 20mgs Paxil for GAD & Panic Attacks 2001 - 30mgs increased to 40mgs 2006 - back down to 20mgs - poop out 2/2007 - C/T off 20mgs - went back on at 10mgs 7/2007 - stabilized then started my taper off of 10mgs 8/2007 - down to 5mgs then found PP and began 10% taper 9/2008 - 1mg 10/15/2008 - 0! 2/2009 - started CBT to finally work on anxiety |

have a blast....send photos, not postcards...racy photos thats what we want...the racier the better.....

1. 07/08 c/t 2 mg Klono 2. 09/08 added 10 mg Lexapro (my inability to sit still started) 3. 10/08 stopped Lexapro and took 300 mg Luvox and 15 mg Busipron 4. 11/08 1.5 mg K. 5. 01/09 stopped Luvox and Busipron. stayed on 1.5 mg Klono added 40 mg Paxil, 15 mg Tranxene (0.5 mg of K) and 1000 mg Depakote 6. Taper 1.5 mg Klono in 6 wks; still on 20 mg Tranx, 20mg Paxil and 500 mg Dep. Worst symptom: inability to sit still for 8 months. what caused it? either c/t of K or side effect of SSRIs. |

Anti-deps since summer 1990. 12 years of Paxil....Quick taper from Aug-Nov 2006. (Not recommended). I struggle if I'm being honest. Still small benzo dosage to tackle. July'09 From 2.5mg- @ 2mg (  hot) now @1.75mg  just horrid!After nearly 3 years free....August '09 on 20mg Prozac...  VERY disappointed!'Sometimes you have to be lost to understand yourself!' |

Age 27 went on paxil for anxiety stayed on for a yr.or so..got pregnant..so got off ..not sure if it was w/d or being pregnant.. After pregnancy went back on for Anxiety, Panic..irrational thoughts..20mg 2006 started to wean off, Paxil free 6/07.. |

1 .5 Xanax a day for one month. C/T. Same year, 3 .5 mil Xanax a day, 4 by the end. Pooped out on me. 1 1/2 years on the drug. Doctors taper. Very bad w/d. 9 months later took 10 mg Paxil and my Xanax w/d dissapeared. On 20 mg by end. Pooped out on me. C/T then restarted it again after 3 days and big blow up. 6 months taper, never feeling much better. 2 1/2 years solid w/d then sporadic stuff for 5 years. Completely recovered! Drug free since June 2001. |

Ang, I know this is probably the first holiday in a longtime you feel
Well enough to enjoy, nobody deserves it more, you have a blast out there! You have helped me more in the last few weeks then anybody! After everything you have been through, it makes me very happy to picture you lying on the beach soaking up the sun with a smile on your face! It's been a longtime coming! The only thing you have to worry about now is your grumpy husband after chelsea were dumped out of the cup! I will miss you! Jimmy

Have a wonderful time Anj! It's great that you are able to travel while in the middle of your taper - it really shows the worth of doing a slow taper.
