I went off paxil two months ago,

:P First of all, my english is very bad, but I wanna say to you that left paxil is possible. After one month off paxill, I switch to Prozac Weakly , and now after 5 weaks I'm free of SSRI'S.

I do very exercice every day( I swim 1,5 km every day) , the side effects that actually suffer are: dizzines, low pression blood, and ezcema.

I know, I will defeat paxil, prozac and all this ****.

Yours,

Josep m.

congratulations!

Congratulations Josep! Your passion and dedication is inspiring. We're right here to cheer you on to your personal victory!

It certainly is possible and I've lost count of how many people I've seen succeed in the effort over the years. Each one was an incredible journey with each person demonstrating wonderous courage.

I hope to hear more of your progress too.

Alleviating the withdrawal effects

Josep, I'm glad you were able to quit the SSRIs. There are some things you can take to reduce the withdrawal effects. I am assuming if the exact product is not available where you live, there may be a similar product on the market.

Dramamine or Bonine (used for seasickness--helps with dizziness)
Ginger capsules or ginger tea (reduces nausea)
Aleve (or ibuprofen for headaches)
Chamomile tea or Benadryl (for sleep disturbance)

Also beneficial:
Multivitamin
Vitamin B-complex 50
Vit C 1000 mg, divided dose
Vit E 400 IU
Fish oil capsules or flaxseed (omega-3 essential fatty acids)

Good luck to you!
