A Pretty Good Day
Hi all
I'm conscious that I'm always posting "heavy" stuff, so I wanted to redress the balance a bit. Yesterday I went to the Hay Literary Festival about 90 minutes up the road from me ("The Woodstock of the Mind", copyright Bill Clinton). Sun was out, felt quite relaxed, ate an ice cream, enjoyed looking around and lying on the grass. Didn't feel as troubled by the ringing in my ears too. Even caught myself appreciating members of the opposite sex I'm sorry - that sounds a bit dodgy, but after years of Seroxat induced indifference, it's really quite a revelation. I'm not a lecherous bloke honest! After a rough week, it's given me some hope that I can get through this. Days like this are important and the effort involved is well worth it. Being nice to ourselves and doing nice things matters so much. Not quite sure what to do today though - hence spending too much time on here! Take care all. Si

Re: A Pretty Good Day
Pleased for you too Aussie girl! Important to acknowledge the good, as well as the bad.
There seemed to be a lot of Antipodeans around Hay-on-Wye yesterday. It's one of the best known literary festivals in the world though, so I guess it's no surprise. Cultured people obviously! Si

Just getting out (if you're able) does wonders! I'm happy to read you had such a good day and doing something you obviously love!
