1 Year Cold Turkey

Was wondering if its possible at one year to be hitting the vomitting and hot flushing state. Was doing really good up till month 10 and then things have just gone haywire for me. Body is flushing, can't keep down solid food. The smallest little thing send me into a panic attack, I cant relax at all, not comfortable in my own house. Everything scares me and im hallunciating sometimes.

12 years 30 mg

Thanks
Zig

Re: 1 Year Cold Turkey

for the best part of a year off i had mainly physical problems and from about month 10 or so is when all the emotional/mental problems struck me badly. so, yes, in my opinion, it is possible for you to be getting all these new symptoms this far out. i had several really bad months but am finally starting to see some light.

hang in there

Re: 1 Year Cold Turkey

I'm only 3 months out myself so I can't speak for 1 year, and have yet to see many improvements myself.

Aside from there being a probability the hallucinations are a symptom of Paxil withdrawal, on the flip-side hallucinations can come from a lot of things ranging from fevers (a flu or viral infection), to something hormonal (menopause? not sure of your sex / age), or a psychiatric conditions such as major depressive disorder with psychosis, and bipolar disorder among others.

I don't want to scare you, but since you are so far out from your last dose of Paxil I hate to suggest the possibility that Paxil was masking an underlining condition which is now presenting itself since you're off the drug.

You might want to consult with a psychiatrist or doctor, or someone who has some experience with this to make sure the hallucinations aren't from something other than Paxil withdrawal.

Waves happen to the best of us and anything goes when one hits. However, it sounds a lot like you have a virus.

It does sound like a bad wave. I hope it passes for you soon. Relaxation exercises might help.
