Clonazepam pills + Klonopin liquid?

Last night I started looking at the paper that my doc used to determine how many ccs he would give me.

He prescribed 243ccs of 1mg/10ml liquid. So that I would have just enough for 14 days of .9mg and 14 days of .8mg -- nothing more until next month and I'm guessing he'll be just as strict then and make it 14 days of .7 and 14 days of .6, etc.

It didn't dawn on me until later that I would have less to work with if I tapered slower or in smaller increments.

Going back and asking him for a different Rx plan isn't really an option. I think that I pushed him as far as he'll go and I'm grateful that he at least gave me the Rx for liquid. He told me that it was unusual to prescribe over 240ccs for a bottle; but he would do it for me if it made me feel better.

Can I use half of my 1mg Clonazepam tablets with .45 of my Klonopin liquid to start my taper at .95mg (I currently take 1mg) so that I can taper by 5% and have more time in between drops?

Does anyone have any experience with this? Is there any reason why mixing generic Clonazepam with compounded name brand Klonopin would cause any problems?

I've read a lot on here about trying to use liquid exclusively with the Paxil; but I don't know if this is the same for benzos.

If the absorption is an issue, would it help to take them a few hours apart?

I'm kicking myself for not thinking this out better.
