Did you have a nightmare? One that felt so real that you didn't know if it was real or not? That is a Paxil withdrawal symptom. It will get better!

You said in a previous post something about DHEA. Stop taking this if you are! You should not take this if you are having anxiety problems, it'll toss you out of your boat into some really rough water. Please be careful- you're already having a really rough icky withdrawal. DHEA might make it even worse. Pamper your brain right now.

so you went back?

So you were off completely for 7 weeks and then went back to 10mg?

From my experiences withdrawing more then once from Paxil (or rather, trying to, or I would have only done it once hehe), I noticed that my sensitivy to the drug shot way up with every dose juggle. It may be that being free of it, your system learned how to really complain when its around, so that when reintroduced, the wild ride begins with a new fervor.

My withdrawal symptoms and experience of Paxil side effects got worse the more times I tried to withdraw. I really do believe the brain and body get really exhausted from all this, and when it has to endure the Paxil experience over and over, it just feels worse and worse.

Of course, we all have really bad days out of the blue where all progress feels like it never happened. I'd wait to see if that experience repeats itself over the next few weeks so you can have the perspective of patterns and trends, the great revealers where Paxil is concerned because of the seemingly random good/bad day thing.

ok, been off for 8weeks. was getting a little better recently but doc said to go back to 10 mg and taper. took it for two days and ended up in emergency. now people are saying cold turkey is too hard on the system and all this stuff....well i tried to go back and taper but look what happened. i havent taken it in two days because look what it did. i was planning on just going the way i was and wait it out but people are saying it will leave permanent damage. well what about my blackout and mini jolts and major anxiey from re taking it?????? i dont know what to do. i think im gonna just stay off and get through it but now iv read all these people saying not to go cold turkey, well i already did and going back to try and taper didnt work. i tried. what to do then? i was really a lot better a week ago before i restarted than i am now. i havent taken it for two days but the last trhee days i cant even type sometimes without shaking, major palipitations, nervous, dizzy light head, blurry vission, supper insomnia...i take ativan to help. so what are anybodys oppinion. getting better slowly before, or messed up because i took it for two days....take it or continue cold turkey and ride it out??? i really feel like my body hates it.
