Re: wow
Hi Shane,
yes i think that most of us can relate to what your feeling right now, and the fact that you have had some sad news recently is going to pull you down too. We dont react kindly to stress of any sort in w/d, i know i dont either, and this is the sort of reaction i get from an overstimulated nervous system. Be kind to yourself my friend, try to relax and do something nice for you, this too shall pass!!!!!

Re: wow
Hey Shane,
Strategies I developed was distraction like television, socializing with others, minimizing stress (staying in hospital), trying to eat well even when I could not, walking, hot baths, trying to accept, letting time pass, for sometimes it is just the only thing we can do, to just let time pass... It did for me. Just passing time. Next. Next. Hang on, Shane... it will go up and down and maybe get worse, but you will go through this. Also, remember if it becomes too bad for you (as it became for me, mainly the akathisia/sleepless nights) and panic crazy walking around became too much for me, I decided to reinstate. I got a 2nd chance. I hope you dont have this bad like me and dont need to reinstate. Hugs to you! /Mix
