Day 14...

Well, I'm on my 14th day cold turkey...and boy do I wish this was over. I'm not any worse than I was, not too much better. But I WILL get through this...I just will. Each day is another day we don't have to go through again right?

Congratuations on 14 days of no Paxil! Having quit cold turkey three times before finally making it by weaning slowly the fourth time, I would just tell you not to get discouraged if it gets worse before it gets better. Everyone is different, but you may possibly have symptoms as much as 2 or 3 months before it really starts to turn the corner. Of course, you may just keep getting better and better which is what we all hope for. My belief is that God allows us sometimes to suffer through trials to make us stronger and teach us important things. Of course, it isn't much fun when you are in the middle of such times, but you will get through and look back one day and be glad you went through it. I am thankful that I went through it (although I must admit I am not too anxious to go through any more trials than necessary). God bless.

14 days for me, too!

It's been 2 weeks of being off Paxil for me, too! It doesn't seem that long. I'm doing well--no real w/d symptoms or problems. <fingers crossed!> I continue to stick with my vitamins and supplements. Haven't lost any weight yet though... (Could it have anything to do with not eating as I should and not getting enough exercise???? Gotta get moving.)
