PAXIL FREE!!!!

I am proud to say that I dropped my final dose 2 weeks ago. Actually I dropped it 2 months ago, but I was licking dust of the CR form. Basically, all I was doing was eating the coating!!!
I can honestly say, its been great. I was lucky enough to be able to halve my dosing (which I stayed at for about 2 months each). Other than my eyes slamming shut when I am tired or stressed, no problems. But I do have to tell myself everyday that I am fine and with each day passing, I made it through. Does my mind tend to what if? Of course, but I talk myself out of it. I am constantly telling myself how proud to be.
I am not who I was a few years ago, but that will take time. I dont think I want to be that person again. I have a newfound strength. I have more compassion for others.
I have to say though, that Im not so sure I miss NOT crying!!! With all these christmas movies, I find myself tearing up at the slightest thing!!! My libido is coming back! Slowly but surely!!
Keep in mind for those out there, its a long road. But definietly well worth the trip!! I am so proud of myself and all the others who have gone through the srtuggle and continue to go through!! Best of luck. Merry Christmas!!!

Re: PAXIL FREE!!!!

Just a word of caution: withdrawal doesn't end with the last pill, that's when it begins. As you can see in my sig, I tapered for five months and stopped taking Paxil October 23. One thing's for sure, the withdrawal I'm currently in the middle of is absolutely horrible. I'm still working out two hours a day on my elliptical trying to clear my head up a little. But my OCD is just completely out of control.

I'm not trying to rain on a nice positive thread, I only want those out there trying to get this poison out of their system to know what they're in for.

On Paxil for around 6 months, previous to that I was on Celexa for 8ish months. Weaned off Celexa way too fast which resulted in a major crash which resulted in Paxil.
