Same time every day?

I know you will probably think this a stupid question but when I was on 20mg of paxil a day I would take it anytime of the day, mainly morning but if for some reason I didnt I would take it late afternoon. I am now on 10mg and today I didnt take it in the morning, I realised as I was going out and thought ill take it later, by early afternoon I started getting pins and needles affect around my mouth and my finger tips, I took it as soon as I got in but now it is late eveing and at least 5 hours since I took my dose but I am still feeling very heady and unsteady. Now that I am on the lower dose do I have to take it exactly the same time every day?

Be consistent

Yes, mell, take it the same time every day. In that way, you will keep the levels of the drug the same throughout the day. Paxil/Sertoxat has a very short half-life of 21 hrs. If you take it at different times each day, it will really mess things up for you. I always took it at night because I would remember it better and be less likely to miss a dose or forget. Pick the time of day and stick with it. I had a pill box with AM and PM compartments for each day since I also take vitamins, etc. That way I always knew exactly what I had taken. Good luck.
