Here is the BBC version..no mention of SSRI's...absolutely nothing...

You can't just decide that SSRIs were involved. That might have been the case... but nothing will be known until the usual reports come out.

I've been following this and I thought the same thing, however knowing that steroids were involved it can't be blamed just on SSRI's. Of course, they could be a factor especially if he has taken them a long time.
This whole incident took place quite close to where I live, it was quite disturbing.
