are there any good stories out there about this drug

I am just wondering if anyone has successfully stopped taking this drug and had no more side effects. I have missed a few doses(4 once) and felt like complete crap. I have headaches when I am taking this drug sometimes and I do not need those kind of headaches if I stop taking it because I can not even open my left eye.

My only side effect from Paxil was weight and now I am off Paxil and doing fine. My first attempt at weaning was terrible as I was one of those who suffered withdrawal so I ended back on it and then weaned off 20 mg over a 7 month period!! I was severely depressed and full of anxiety and panic when I started taking it. I also did a 15 week self help program from the Midwestcenter in Ohio to change my way of thinking as it is our thoughts that create the body reactions. I still continue to work on changing my way of thinking and because of the program and all the reading I did and the understanding of Paxil withdrawal I am doing great now. Yes it is all hard work and so worth it cause once I was no longer afraid of anxiety and relized that I alone had control of my thoughts everything just fell in to place. Good Luck Timber
