When will this stop!?

Things are really starting to get tough for me. I'm trying so much and yet my symptoms continue. Shortness of breath, dizziness, heavy/weird heart beat, insomnia, adrenaline rushed while sleeping, constant loss of concentration, sudden onset of floaters. All I want to do is go back to how my life was. I used to play hockey twice a week, but haven't been able to since my shortness of breath interferes. I've been to the doc a few times now and they insist everything is fine, and that it's just anxiety. I know I need to believe what they say and rest my mind, but I still think there is something wrong that they are missing. I've been meditating, taking supplements, acupuncture, walking, keeping a journal, reading books, socializing as much as possible. All of these things are keeping the symptoms at a manageable level, but now I feel im just stuck in a rut. This is really starting to get in the way of my life, and making me depressed. I really do enjoy life a lot, and have a pretty good life. Anxiety is a damn crazy thing. Thanks for listening, everybody.

Re: When will this stop!?

Hi!
I am sorry to hear you are doing so poorly. Can you post your weaning schedule on your signature so that we have an idea in what place are you?
Your symptoms seem very similar to the ones we all have experienced here, nothing out of the ordinary. Painful no doubt. Anxiety is my foe, my horror, my pain...my fight. Keep fighting my friend...

I feel better after 3 months of intense suffering... will you? I should believe you will.

Re: When will this stop!?

I see now. Yes, you are in the throws of the worst of withdrawal. It seems to me that it hits when you go lower than 10mg. According to my previous doctor, anything under 10 is "like not having any medicine at all."
I had the tightness in the chest accompanied with a feeling of a heavy iron piece weighting in my lungs and a sense of intense burning heat in my breathing. I had this for about 3 months... and going. However, it is much milder these days. It is a classic anxiety symptom and i doubt there is anything wrong with you. Me and my mom (another anxiety sufferer) call it the "iron chest..." we both have experienced it. It is distressing and it makes swallowing and breathing somewhat laborious... but... i am not dead so... you probably will have to stick around to love your iron chest.
are you taking magnesium? doing meditation? Deep breathing? It might help!

Yes I have been doing everything in my right mind to better myself. Supplements which include Magnesium, bilberry extract, and valerian root for my insomnia. I have been doing acupuncture, meditation/breathing exercises, going for walks, one on one therapy, group therapy, healthy eating, sleep hygiene, etc. I am determined to conquer this demon inside of me!

Re: When will this stop!?

The tapering schedule recommended here is drops of no more than 10% of each dose, waiting at least 3 weeks after each drop until stable. So from 10mg you would go to 9mg for at least 3 weeks until stable, and then to 8.1mg, then 7.3mg, then 6.6mg and so on. From your signature it looks like you may have tapered too quickly.

Thank you so much for your advice once again! Do you have any recommendations on how to cut the pill so fine? I want to taper slower but it is hard to cut the pill that precisely. Thank you!

If you can, get your doctor to prescribe the liquid for you. It is the easiest way to get the small dose drops. If you are unable to get liquid, you can cut pill pieces use a digital scale to weigh the doses. See this thread for more info:
