propecia for hairloss

I was hoping someone here might be able to help me. paxil caused me alot of hairloss so I have been looking into propecia. Has anyone her used it for hairloss and known someone who has used it? I would take it in a heartbeat but propecia can also cause sexual dysfunction, and obviously I am not ready for that again. Do you know if SSRI's is more likely to cause ED than propecia? Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

Re: propecia for hairloss

If I were you, I wouldn't go near propecia. I've read a fair amount of support forums for people who use propecia and have lost their sex drive. They all say they'd rather be balding and sexually potent than have hair and no sex drive.

I would count yourself very lucky you successfully regained your sex drive with the zinc and the exercise and seek out more natural remedies for hair loss. If all else fails, find a way to make peace with your hair loss and remember a full head of hair is really not as sexy to women as you think it is. TRUST me.

And by the way, I know of what I speak: my hair has been thinning in the last few years and I'm only 27, but I am in NO WAY going to try ANY more pharmaceuticals unless it is literally life and death.

12/7/10: 12.2 mg
1/6/11: 10.9 mg
2/3/11: 9.8 mg

Google propecia side effects. There are thousands of horror stories about it.

LOL! I literally just got off the phone with my mom who recommended Propecia to me for my receding hairline!

Needless to say, I politely declined

I'd rather go chrome dome versus having a non-saluting member
