Everyone seems to be out of stock

Has anyone else had an trouble getting refills lately?

I've been using CVS Caremark mail order for a good while now as dictated by my insurance. Never had a problem getting my generic suspension in the 2 years i've been on it. But when i went to get my refill last week, they called and said it was back ordered. They referred me to my local CVS. I called every single CVS and Walgreens in a 20 mile radius, and NONE had it.

I ended up finding a nearby walgreens that had the brand name suspension, and luckily my insurance paid for some of it. Still, I spent a week tracking it down. Is the manufacturer just not making enough to suit the demand? Are they trying to phase it out? This is most likely my last, or next to last bottle ever (almost done with taper ) but any info would be appreciated.

Re: Everyone seems to be out of stock

I may be wrong but I was under the impression that the generic liquid was discontinued by it's manufacturer, Apotex. So now you can only get the brand name liquid. This is why I am wary of making the switch because it seems to have gotten harder to get and since I don't have insurance and the generic was way expensive, I shudder to think how much the brand name would cost. Congrats on getting your LAST bottle!!
