Cyclopia Tea

I went to a British food and gifts store and bought some organic cyclopia tea (I had never heard of it before). This stuff is amazing for insomnia. Better than anything other natural remedies that I have tried. I drink a cup before sleep and within an hour I am out. I also don't feel groggy in the morning. Anyone else try this?

Re: Cyclopia Tea

Is this the brand name? Because cyclopia is a congenital disorder.

Re: Cyclopia Tea

I've never heard of it and I live in Britain. I will keep a look out for it. I'm not sure why it would help with insomnia, but I will try anything.

This article says it is similar to rooibos tea. Someone has posted here before about rooibos.

Re: Cyclopia Tea

Sorry I did not include the entire name. It is called honeybush cyclopia tea. I have had it help me multiple times. Im not saying that it is going to cure insomnia but if you have some kind of relaxation ritual before you go to sleep at night, adding in a cup of this tea may make it more effective.
Your right though effexorsam, It does not really make sense that it would help with insomnia so I cannot explain why it helps me so much. I will post the brand I buy when I get home.

Re: Cyclopia Tea

From what you've written, I really want to try it now. Rooibos is good, and I've had rooibos chai and earl grey, but this sounds great. Not so long ago I thought everything was so bleak, but nature provides so many amazing and beautiful things for us. Bob, if it gets you to sleep, don't argue with it, just enjoy!

Re: Cyclopia Tea

Ok, I now have to try this tea. I like tea and usually drink Traditional Medicinals Nighty Night, or Easy Now tea before bed.

Re: Cyclopia Tea

I like the sound of this, I have insomnia and could really do with something tasty to drink. I hope it's sold online.

@effexorsam - rooibos chai and earl grey? That sounds lovely, I so miss my earl grey

Re: Cyclopia Tea

Pboy, yes believe it or not you can get Rooibos Chai, Rooibos Earl Grey, and another one Roobos Vanilla I think. Got mine from the supermarket, but specialist health food shops have even more amazing selections of stuff. There is one called Yogi tea which is based on ancient Ayervedic medicine. Best one I can remember was Choco tea, with Cocoa shells, ginger and other goodies
