A great site to plug in all the medications to determine if there are potential drug interactions.

Just click on "New List" and then type in a drug you are taking and click "add", then type the next drug, then click "add" again. Once you've typed them all, click "Check Interactions".

Just FYI: When I typed in the four drugs I took at the same time on the 1st link it gave me a warning for Lithium and Cymbalta, the second link gave me a warning for Vyvanse and Cymbalta. The Drugs.com site gave me a fuller picture; warnings for Lithium and Cymblata, Cymbalta and Vyvanse, Lithium and Lamictal, Lamictal and Cymbalta and Lithium and Vyvanse (some major, some moderate, some minor).

I notice it says that paxil interferes with paink killers - so that might answer my question. I have had dreadful hadaches for years (from withdrawal, I understand now - but didn't then) and no amount of painkiller ever helped.

Now that I am on only 9mg, wouldn't you think the painkillers might help? Is it advisable to take the 2 together or wait a few hours after taking paxil to take painkiller?

Has anyone had any benefit taking painkillers every day, as a precaution?

I HAVE HAD THE WORST PROBLEMS WITH ULTRAM!!! I have Neuropathic Pain Syndrome and Interstitial Cystitis from a viral infection, but I suspect the 5+ years of trying to get off Paxil is behind a lot of this pain. So, I try to avoid narcotic painkillers due to addiction, and end up with drugs like ULTRAM. Well, ULTRAM + PAXIL is a bad mix. Paxil zaps, depersonalization, dizziness, and a feeling of unreality and panic. It's pretty bad, although it DOES kill pain lol.

Paxil 20mg 1995 for sudden onset of anxiety. Withdrawal 1996 for 2 weeks. LUCID NIGHTMARES. Withdrawal 1999 failed-forced raise to 30mg. Withdrawal 2002 duration 10 months failed. Lost job. Cold turkey = full body rash, knotted muscles. Resumed to 20mg 2003. Forced to 30mg 2004 after 1 BAD REFILL Tapering 2005-06 down to 15mg. Pooped out and raised to 20mg in 2010.
