This is day 4 of headaches, a bit of a downer after the last drop, but I am now getting accostomed and more accepting of the process of ups and downs and I now know for sure that I WILL see better days again. I can't really blame this last drop, because the headache started the day I dropped but before I had taken the tablet. I think it's one of those 3-4 day headaches I always get. Not bedridden this time, but on the lounge. Also VERY TIRED and getting the head banging and sore head. |

Thanks Suzanne. Have a pressure head today, and vibrations are more intense, etc so taking it easy and plodding along!

Re: 17 years and fed up
Thanks Junior! Yep, no trains coming! I am feeling more hopeful, and I remember when you (and others) used to say "it will get better" etc but I didn't believe it! Sorry about that.
I feel like I am on my way now, maybe because I have more control over the whole situation now, whereas before I didn't know why I was so crook when I was updosing/skipping etc and didn't know why. Also, I have another bottle of capsules I ordered 6 mos ago for this drop, but after the 12 weeks of pressure heads when I took them before, I decided not to take the capsules for this drop. At least when I cut and weigh, I know what I am doing (unless I don't know what I'm doing!) That did happen early on, when I was weighing them wrong. I think my brain is getting better and I am not making so many mistakes. It was hard when I kept getting hit with new symptoms, and that threw me and I would get angry and depressed. I am used to the process now and quite proud of myself. I could not have done it without the help of PP, those like yourself, and especiallyTTGW - I owe so much to her for her help and advice. YOu all kept me going when I wanted to quit!![]() |

Re: 17 years and fed up
I'm so glad that things are improving for you. It's been a long hard road but finally you are moving forward (and getting somewhere!) already
I know what you mean about having control. It was hard for me going back on to Paxil after what Lexapro and Cymbalta did to me and waiting for my body to stabilise. At first I had no emotions (I am normally very emotional!) and anhedonia but it improved quickly. I also remember having the cognitive fog that people here talk about but it passed also. It took around 3 months but I had just started a new job ![]() It's when I think back to what all that was like ( 2.5 yrs ago) that I realise how far I've come ![]()

Re: 17 years and fed up
Well, that experiement didn't give me the results I hoped for! Not a good drop like the previous one.
I had 10 bad days in a row Then I had a good day, so I went out in the garden for a bit and that was okay, and next day I felt better, but did some raking for less than an hour and ended up with aches and pains, vibrations in body and head high, so I must have done too much. Perhaps I should rest the day after I garden... So that is today's plan - to rest, as I am not too bad today; the aches have improved and I am just very, very tired. I couldn't sleep last night because of the intense vibrations (body and head) and aching legs.

Re: 17 years and fed up
I was on Paxil, lexapro, celexa for the past 18 years for panic disorder. 6 months ago I cut out cold turkey with no real fanfare but I'm getting my anxiety back and my family doctor put me back on Paxil two weeks ago. I want to get off this stuff and maybe try some natural remedies to my problems

Re: 17 years and fed up
Ouch Grandma, sorry to hear this drop wasn't a good one. I've lost a bit of my gardenin' mojo too lately it seems, my previous drop wasn't the best but I'm hopeful the one I just did (also a smaller one) will be better. Here's to a better time for this one for all us down-unders, ay?

Maybe those of us in the southern hemisphere experience withdrawal differently?

I felt that overall it was another bad week, probably because of the return of some old symptoms but trying not to let them frighten me. Also, the 4 days of headaches caused me to feel emotionally low as I was also lethargic, tired and slow and heavy during those days. However, when I look at the overall picture in my journal, it would appear that with the return of some sympms, other symptoms were improved, so that is confusing! Didn't cope so well this week. Re: 17 years and fed up
Just checking in today, feeling much better at last. Previous 2 weeks and 3 days of this drop have been terrible. Not been able to do anything much due to headaches, pressure heads and then the vibrations intensified in my head which is really horrible.
I was despairing of not being able to visit my daughter in the big smoke for lunch on her birthday, which was yesterday, BUT I woke up with mild symptoms, a good start! The symptoms were pretty good, only got to moderate when I got home, so I wasa thrilled I could celebrate her special day with her. I didn't care if I turned worse again, as long as I had a good enough day that day to be with her. Today, I am very happy as vibrations are mild, the worse thing being scalp crawlies, but that's okay, they don't hurt and ears ringing in the hi end, just annoying. I am off now to Drs. to have some bits of moles removed off by back to be sent off for biopsy. I hope my Dr. is better than Pat's! |

Re: 17 years and fed up
Last year in Sept. we put off our trip to the Great Ocean Road (in Victoria - Junior country) as I was too crook. We thought we would go in March this year, 6 mos later.
Hubby wants t put it off again as I am still not great (apart from one drop of 4 weeks) but I have talked him into going, hoping that it will be at least a distraction and because there is a lot of driving involved, it is easy enough to just sit in the car. I may not enjoy the scenery 100% but I can still enjoy it to some extent. I doubt very much that I will drop again after 4 weeks, as this one was terrible so far. I am hoping I will stgart to feel a lot better from now on and if so, may hold off the next drop while doing the trip. Only decision now, is when to go as it has been raining for weeks here on and off and now the last 2 days non-stop wsith over 40mls overnight and that is HIGHLY UNUSUAL for our area at this time of the year. Places in Qld are flooding again and we are concerned about it running down to Victoria and flooding down there again. We will wait a week and see what happens. |

Re: 17 years and fed up
Yeah Chiro. The rain, however I can put up with, it is headaches I can't. Had aother one yesterday but feeling better today.
We had 84mols in 24hours but the place we would have our first stop-over at got 122mls in 24 hours! It has to ease off soon, surely! It should be over your way by now. |

Looks like the "Bad" list is a lot shorter this week, that seems good to me. Hope next week is even better.

Re: 17 years and fed up
Thanks Brassmonkey, I was hoping for a better week too, after all, now the 4the 4th weekk. Had one good day, but 2 day in a row now of pressure head, dull hedache, the body vibes and head vibes have gone tup to high again and am feeling a bit low.
It looks like I forgot yesterday's tablet! I have weekly thingo and it is still in it! I set an alarm and all, so I don't know how I forgot. That may explain toda's heavyness and emotionally low. Gotta go to big smoke tomorrow - my dad back in hspital, not a good thig]ng, and our trip we were planning...ONE DAY AT A TIME.... |

Thinking of you Grandma. Hope you can make the trip down here. Although we've had a bit of rain lately so I hope it settles for you.

It has been another crap day with a bad head pressure/headache and hi head vibrations at times. The visit with my dad was okay, but I was pushing it, and I am now absolutely "had it" and hubby will have to cook tea. I'm heading for the lounge and am very, very tired and head is still bad. The usual pink eyes are very red. My dad has encouraged us to still go on our trip, desite his condition -(terminal). We may not go right to Great Ocean Road, just stay north Vic. so we can come home quickly if need be. At present, I don't feel like going anywhere.: I won't be dropping after 4 weeks this time round, that's for sure. |
