Re: To The Last Drop

Good to hear, Polly! I'm gradually getting there, too. I'm having more "better" times than bad, although I still get waves...but, they don't last so long.

Take care,

KittyQ

Re: To The Last Drop

Hey Guys, just want to report, I took my last drop of Paxil on September 1st 2012!!! Yes I've been off 7 whole months! Finally free and doing great!

I didn't want to be one of those who get off and never come back here but honestly, it's been so good to feel "normal" again I just got really busy. I feel like I "lost" a chunk of my life and now I want to make up time. I'm trying to make every day count and make the most of every minute

Thank you all for your help and encouragement. I really appreciate you being here when I was having rough days. I'll try to be around more often to offer support.

Just want to say: Don't give up! There is life after Paxil!

Re: To The Last Drop

Thanks Caperjackie and Brass Monkey!

AmyK, I think it was .5 cc. May have been .3cc. I was so scared of jumping off too soon and having to reinstate, I went right down to just a little drop on the tip of my tongue. Think I stayed there for three weeks and then said "ok this is it!" And while I thought I was pretty much back to normal at that point, looking back, compared to how I feel now, I really wasn't. Now I can look at Paxil as truly a thing of the past.

Still some migraines but not like they were when I was on Paxil. Still have tinnitus but I had that before, only now it gets worse whenever a storm is coming in. I know a day ahead what the weather is going to do I'm trying to think of it as an asset, though it drives me bonkers at times!

Chiropteran, look at you, 5.6!!! You've come so far!!! I need to go read your journal and catch up on all of your news.
