Brunyan:
I remember some of your earlier posts. You were as bad as I'ver read. I wasn't sure if you were going to make a successful wean. Well, You are an example that as bad as it gets, you can make it! I'm happy for you man. I know you'll get to that 100% and beyond!

Great news and congrats on the recovery....Reading this news simply made my day.
Thanks for sharing. Just one question... Did you suffer DP/DR...if yes how long it took to go away.. Also did you take any supplements.

I did. Very Very much. The Anhedonia and DP/DR was overhwhelming. I was on another planet. It got much better around month 13 or so. And is totally gone now. (month 22)

Re: 20 month post lexapro (GOOD) update (post PSSD)
BR, thanks again for your recent posts and further comments--very enlightening and encouraging.
I'm also guessing that a lot of people who recover just move on and don't come back and post, so if that's true it's another reason for encouragement--there may well be a lot more success stories than you'd think browsing over things here. And I'm encouraged, also, that you've had this experience starting on the pills at age 13. I'm particularly concerned about how often these things are given to kids, partly since they may not be in a position to use their own judgement (they're kids, after all), but also because they are still developing physiologically. I know children are way, way more affected by toxic substances (pestidices, etc.) than adults, and assume this is true for ssris also. So if you've recovered after taking them during puberty, that's a very good sign indeed. Thanks again, and good luck with this new life of yours!
