Endone for pain

Hi everyone

I have a question about Endone. I was prescribed this by my anaesthetist following my lap band surgery last Friday and have been using it for the past 3 nights to kill the pain so I can get to sleep. I know it is addictive and will only use it sparingly but it would be helpful to know how long I can use it at night before I suffer any w/d.

I guess I'm also a little concerned as to how this will affect my w/d although I tend not to be anywhere near as sensitive to these things as many others.

Has anyone taken Endone during w/d and have they had any issues?

Endone is oxycodone in the US..just to clarify.

Oxycodone is a good pain med. That said, use it for the shortest time period possible, since it's rapidly addicting. But use after a surgical procedure isn't a problem. Usually after 2-3 days patients can switch to something like advil.

Thanks Scotty. I've used it for the past 3 nights. I've now bought some smaller panadol capsules. I'll use those instead.
