Hiya, it's probably just anxiety creeping up, try not to worry about it or over-think it.

I think it's important to also remember that 'non SSRI' (I have no idea what the call them lol) people also have 'good' days and 'bad' days. Days when they are alert and focused and other days when they can't concentrate for the life of them.

Don't think of it as strange, try to think of it as 'normal' and not let it get to you

Have a good day!!!!!!

Re: everything feels frantic at the moment

Think of it as an opportunity to slow things down and learn some new skills. During my worst, I went from multitasking machine to actually writing down tasks and breaking them down into steps. I had to work hard to complete one thing at a time to get through the day. That experience actually has come back to help me in terms of being more organized for the last 5 years.

Embrace it a bit, and make some lemonade!

Re: everything feels frantic at the moment

Julieann-- When I catch my slef moving "mach" speed, I slam on the breaks. I stop everything and stand stock still and tell my slef "you're moving too fast, just slow down, there is no need to rush." then I take a deep breath or two, relax my arms and back and proceed at a consciencely slower speed. With practice it works pretty good.

But as long as your in the mood, why not get a few things done.LOL

Hope you have a calm afternoon.

Maybe some hypomania? Just breathe and try to consciously take things slow.

Re: everything feels frantic at the moment

Do you have ADD? I do, and that describes me almost everyday. I have to take deep breaths and purposely tell myself to slow down. It's probably a w/d effect and will pass!

I feel like that is how I lived the 13 years on meds. The last 6 months or so on meds was the worst. Prior to that, it creeped up on me and I didn't even realize it wasn't normal.

Since many side effects can also be withdrawal effects, I think it's safe to assume this is withdrawal related and will subside. Of course, check your caffiene intake and things like that to see if there's anything you could change to lessen the symptoms.

Hang in there.
