anybody with crippling muscle aches?

I just quit taking Paxil about 2 1/2 months ago. After about 2 weeks my upper back, neck and jaw have been in a continuous cramp. No matter what I have done I cannot seem to get it to go away. The cramps lead to a headache that causes me to have blurry vision in my right eye. I am fairly sure i don't have a brain tumor and the doctor says that I am completely healthy!

I am going to a chiropractor at the moment, am practicing yoga, and taking a wide variety of vitamins suggested to me by a naturopath... Any other suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Sometimes I feel like it would just be a little easier and more cost-effective to go back on Paxil, but I am determined to live life without it!

Thanks!

muscle cramps

I also had this feeling like I was having a heart attack, anxiety, and my back and chest were so tight they hurt. I explained as an ace bandage all around my chest and it felt really tight. I had a pain in my back that felt like someone had slugged me and it went into my right shoulder. I went to a chiropractor and he did an adjustment and did some electrical muscle stimulation on my back but it really didn't help that much. I did take hot baths every morning to hopefully relax my muscles. Gradually I felt like the ace bandage was loosening and the pain gradually subsided. I did everything you're doing and just tried to wait it out. It's finally pretty much gone away. It was an awful awful feeling. I still get a little tightness in my chest and I feel like I have to take a deep breath to get enough air. It drives my husband crazy because he says it sounds depressing. I also notice I tense my muscles at night and when I wake up in the morning my muscles are a little tender.

Put on Paxil in 1996 for Post-partum depression. After 5th withdrawal attempt, went into severe debilitating withdrawal, restarted Paxil in the ER which didn't work anymore. Taken off again quickly by a shrink, started on Lexapro. Body rejected all drugs except benzos. Currently off all drugs. Not quite 100% yet, but working towards getting there.
