Interesting statistics Paxil, people on/off and suicide

I've been in touch with a clever gentleman who took all kinds of data relating to Paxil prescriptions, numbers of people who stayed on it vs those who got off and how many were suicidal, and mashed it together to produce some VERY interesting conclusions!

I'll be able to share his work with everyone here very soon.

Your jaws will hit the floor.

This is kind of information that we need to see!!!
This is a quote from a conference of Mental Health Professionals in Florida.

Interesting quotes:

Nurse Practitioner in Psychiatry says....
"Unfortunately, what it means is that we're going to lose a few," she said, citing a higher suicide rate among children who are not medicated but suffer from depression. "It's better that we get these children on antidepressants."

With my obvious mistrust of the psychiatric profession I wonder what TRUE statistics show.

It might.

I was certainly shocked when I heard it.

I think Scott is beginning to naturally expect ridiculousness being paraded as 'business sense' when it comes to big pharma.
