This is too funny...

I work in the Life Enrichment Department at a Senior Retirement Living Complex (For two more days anyway). Well, the other woman that works in that department with me was on Paxil, which didn't agree with her, so they put her on Effexor, which she has been trying to wean from for a while now. (She's smaller in stature than my 12-year-old boy, mind you, and he's tiny for his age.) She went to the doctor to try and get something to help her withdrawl symptoms as they were disabling. The doctor put her on a "new-generation" SSRI. (Is that scary, or what?) Anyway, we both realized that the two people this whole retirement community is counting on for Life Enrichment are prescription druggies!

So the joke was that we can show anyone a good time. Just drop up in the Life Enrichment Office and we'll have a fix-it-all remedy in a bottle!

Okay...maybe it's the withdrawls that makes this humorous!

I love that. Kind of like this thing I read last night..that psychiatrists have the highest suicide rate of all doctors.
