Lucinda Bassett Program for Anxiety?

Has anyone who suffers from anxiety tried this program? If so, could you please share? I have heard good things about it.

I have never heard of this program. How did you find it? I would like to read about it and maybe even try it since I suffer from Anxiety and I'm tired of popping pills to help control it.

Lucinda Basset's program has been mentioned on this board before but unfortunately I can't find the posts.

Here is the link to her website www.stresscenter.com

The "program" costs just(?) 6 Easy Payments of $69.98
Plus $9.95 Shipping and Handling
30-Day Money-Back Guarantee

Which is very expensive I think.

You can find plenty of great self-help books on depression, anxiety and panic. Plus you'll find great tips here on this forum.

My favourite book on anxiety and panic is "Don't Panic" by R Reid Wilson

I shouldn't encourage illegal activity...BUT...I downloaded her program from limewire for free and put it onto Cds. I also got her book From Panic to Power. It was a great book! She has a lot of insight into anxiety and especially agoraphobia. I recall a member, "Timber" who said there was a workbook too and that she did it with a coach.

I've read her book and find that it's good for most anxieties. For the really hardcore "my mind is blowing up" type anxiety suffering, Bronwyn Fox's work seems better suited.

it is a good program as you hear others going through the same thing. 50% of the problem goes away with reassurance and general understanding.

Hi Sage-I have done the program and the coaching program as well and it is fantastic. For me that was my way to heal myself and get off Paxil. Check out their website www.stresscenter.com. What I like about the program is that it has been designed by people who have been there with anxiety and depression. Yes some of it is genetic but all those internal body symtoms from anxiety art created by us alone with our thoughts and Lucindas program works on changing the way we think which takes time and lots of work but is so worth it as you do heal yourself. Anyhow check it out and see for yourself. All the Best Timber PS Also Lucindas book from Power to Panic gives one an insight in to her journey towards recovery.

I often watch the commercial late at night just to hear these other people.. I always am amazed at the people who are better by tape 2. I've had the program for almost 10 years. Shows how much medication hinders your progress. Now that's all I'm dealing with.

This is so weird that you posted this. I just got this program the other day. I decided. Okay, I am going to to do it. Since I am tapering. I just posted in another group if anyone heard of it. But, it's weird that hearing her talk, I am thinking to myself. That's me. That's me. I do that. So, I am glad to see it works. I am difinitely a worrier and what if thinker.
I am only on week one.
