Nasty mean negative thoughts!
I have been off paxil for 5 months... Does anyone know how long until these awful angry thoughts leave? I find I think up awful things that a person could say....they bring me to tears at times, as these are not things I would normally think! I need to know that they go, so that I can have my nice feelings to loiok forward to. After so many months of crappy words and thoughts, it would be truly a gift or a miracle to have them leave.

Re: Nasty mean negative thoughts!
Hey Dennis!
Those thoughts were almost enough to put me back on Paxil...but I knew that I didn't have them BEFORE I took it, and that eventually they would subside. I literally started feeling better overnight last week. I hope it lasts. I was a TOTAL butt-hole for probably three or four months. The only thing that saved me was that I told everyone that it wasn't "real" and they, for the most part, would leave me alone or make fun of me until I was laughing at myself. It's better to get angry with the anger and remember that it's not really you, just a re-direct in all those misfiring neurons within your brain. Would Jackie have married an as_-hole? I doubt it.
