Kinda Nervous...

Hiya Folks:

Wanted to update you all on where I am today.

I forgot my brother's birthday, I never forget my brother's birthday....I feel kinda foggy, probably the ativan. I take it night and it helps me keep my evenings on an even keel. Evenings are hardest for me. I haven't been sleeping very well but the dreams are not as vivid as they were around day 5. I had a total sinus/allergy attack at about 3AM and had to get up and move around. I love/hate spring. Allergies are the worst! I am hoping for a bit more energy today.

The doc took blood and is checking the function of my thyroid, I am already being treated for hypo-thyroidisim. I have gained 50 lbs! over the last year

and the doc said he thought that there was a metobolic change in people taking Paxil and that they tended to put on alot of weight! Plus I quit smoking in Jan. 04, plus I am 44...my metabolisim is soooooooo slow.

So, for today I am on day 12 of my weaning, jumped from 20mg to 10mg and was tough at first, feeling better now. I will stay here for awhile before going to 5mg. I will stay in touch.

Glad to hear you are feeling better! I am on day 3 of my jump from 40mg to 30mg. I didn't sleep so well last night, I've been up since 3am. Oh well, at least it's Friday.

We are in this together! Congrats on quitting smoking. I am going to give up the habit this weekend.

i know it seems your metabolism is slow but i know the paxil is why you put the weight on... i was 180 before ssri's, went to 220 on them but it was thanks to paxil that i went to 253. I've dropped 45 since quitting paxil.

That is what the doc told me Scott, another good reason to keep working the wean. My knees are killing me

..day 12 on a 10 mg jump. That is great!!! You are doing great!!

( I just did a 5mg drop starting at 20 also and didn't make it past day 4!! had to go back up again!)
