drug interaction

Because we are out in the sticks in Victoria, the internet is as slow as a wet week and I cannot find out from drug interactions about taking something for whatever I have. Not sure if I have hayfever or flu.

Anyway, the chemist once told me not to take pseudoesedrine with aropax as it can cause heart attack. I have got with me polaramine and aerius. Can someone please see if it's okay to take either of these anti-histamnes with aropax? I normally use a nasal spray, but last night had a bad reaction to that, giving me like swollen tonsils, throat and a bad headache that last all day today.

Polaramine has active ingred. dexchlorpheniramine maleate 2mg
Aerius active ingredient is desloratadine 5mg

Re: drug interaction

Hi! I just popped in here for a minute and am very sleepy, but I didn't see any interactions for either of those when I entered them with paroxetine (aropax) on the Drug Interactions Checker on drugs.com!

(I'm way behind on how everyone's doing, but I'll try to catch up on your posts soon! I hope things are going well for you!)

Re: drug interaction

TTGW thanks.

I was surprised when I actually read the bottle of Mylanta (antancid I've been taking for years on and off)...I don't always read labels... and it says not to take it within 2 hours of ANY OTHER MEDICATTION!
