Re: Success stories.

I've read a lot of success stories here about recovery from this. Try doing a search? Not sure which posts they were but if you dig you'll find some...

2005-2010 Effexor XR 112.5mg-262.5mg for PPD
June-Dec 2010 Poop-out (crash)
3 month cross taper off Effexor onto 40mg Cipralex, switched to 20mg Celexa, switched to 20mg Paxil
Nothing helped except waiting 7 months to stabilize on Paxil then starting to taper:
Oct'11 to Nov '12 20mg-10mg
March'13 to Feb'14 9mg -4mg
Feb 7/14-4.0mg
April 1/14-3.6mg

I have symptoms since December 2011 (around 4months).

Apart of sexual problems (PSSD), I have developed sleep apnea (20 episodes per hour) and snoring (up to 60dB, as laud as laud screaming). I had this sleep problems every day, it has occured after 2 weeks after withdrawal of the drug.
Now, I do not snore and possibly I do not have sleep apnea, after taking (Wellbutrin) Burpopion drug. But I do not know whether is permanent (it is lasting only 6days). I am going to have a test while sleeping. Maybe, Wellbutrin elimainate deep REM sleep (during this time snoring and sleep apnea is the most intense). I have a little insomnia, but I will continue to take it, once I make a sleep test. Then I will be able to analize its effect on sleeping.

I have been off all drugs for 15 days now and have very bad PSSD: numb penis (the worst symptom), weak erections, ejaculate very little, no pleasure etc. I wish I could say there has been some change or improvement, but there hasn't. Before I stopped I had been on 1.25 mg for 3 months with zero improvement.

Re: Success stories.

4 months isn't very long, it'll take more time for things to go back to normal.

Re: Success stories.

Here is a good success story: http://www.paxilprogress.org/forums/...ad.php?t=55268

I try and bookmark some and read them when I'm feeling a bit hopeless.

I'm coming up for 10 months off citalopram and I'm still experiencing many symptoms. I sometimes get windows of a few days or a week or so where I feel almost completely normal again and for a brief moment I forget that I'm even going through this. I believe I will feel like that every day eventually and my recovery will be finished. Perhaps tomorrow, perhaps in 3 years. Good luck.
