eye twitching

I have had eye twitching in my right eye for about 2 weeks now.
It mainly on the bottom lid but has started on the top lid. I look in the mirror and can see the lid pulsating.
I know that it is a nerve or whatever that can be caused stress or lack of sleep but can it be withdrawal aswell?
Or is just me with the usual worrying nonsense?
Thanks.

Re: eye twitching

GET OUT! My left eye has been doing the same exact thing for about a week now. Drive's me nuts! I've been off Paxil for four years, so w/d has nothing to do with it. But, I did look it up (cause that's what I do and they say it can last for 3-6 weeks and it's from eye strain. Oh, there's other causes too, but none of them bad.

Re: eye twitching

I've gotten eye twitching in the past from fatigue and stress, so that could be the cause of your eye twitching.

Re: eye twitching

My lower lids have been twitching like mad too. Good to see i'm not alone.

It could be from all sorts of things, none of which are sinister however

Re: eye twitching

I've really been lucky this year, usually Jan thru May is just miserable. It has been a very dry winter so there are not as many flowers this spring.

Hope yours clears up soon.
